Node.JS(Devops) - Bangalore

Node.JS(Devops)

About Company :
Most hospital patients around the world are only seen by a nurse once every six hours. Due to the high cost and complexity of existing monitoring devices, these vulnerable patients are left alone without even a vitals monitor. Tragically, up to 75% of injuries and deaths in hospitals happen to these patients who lack basic medical supervision. They have built a cloud-connected vital signs monitoring system that rescues these patients. They are expanding access to a fundamental tool of modern medicine to the 11 million under-monitored beds around the world.

Job Description :

About US:-

We are hiring an experienced infrastructure engineer to help us improve the quality of medical care through smarter patient monitoring.
Hospitals today heavily rely on nurses manually monitoring patients. This leads to missed patient symptoms, longer hospital stays, and overall worse patient outcomes. We increases hospital access to automatic, continuous monitoring by designing smart medical devices that are easy to use and networked with the cloud. We've converted medical hardware into a data-driven SaaS product.
Our monitors are currently live in hospitals in India, and are built for a global distribution. We have teams in Los Angeles, Bangalore, and working remotely. We just graduated from the first class of the Tech stars Healthcare Accelerator, in Partnership with Cedars-Sinai.

About the Role:

We are looking for someone excited by the idea of building a well-tested, reliable web infrastructure stack with modern technologies. Our web application back end is built with Node.js (with a PostgreSQL database) hosted on AWS. It drives our Android application, our single-page React application, and our data science tools.
We value experience building and maintaining scalable back-end infrastructure. If you have expertise in it, you will be leading our deployments and web infrastructure. We're currently using Terra-form to manage our AWS infrastructure, Sprinkle for provisioning, and Capistrano for deployments.
The rest of our software stack includes a hardware monitor with our own C++ code, and an Android application written in Java. We're using both Bluetooth Low Energy and wi-fi. Our Dashboard is the primary way that doctors interact with patient data when not in front of the patient.
You will have a great deal of autonomy and be responsible for influencing the culture, technology and processes of our company. We're a small team and are looking for someone who can learn quickly and become competent in multiple parts of the tech stack, so we hope the idea of working with a variety of technologies excites you.
We are just beginning, and are striving to build an inclusive and positive company culture.
