Bermuda Triangle is the greatest unsolved mystery of the modern age, also called Devil's Triangle. 
It is a triangular shaped area in the North Atlantic Ocean, from Bermuda Island to Miami, USA and Puerto Rico. Hundreds of people and numerous boats, ships and planes have disappeared inside this triangle. Reasons given for these disappearances vary from scientific to sheer myth.

Fact no.1 - 

                   The Bermuda Triangle is not small. In fact, it is quite large and covers an area of 440,000 miles of sea. This is larger than the combined area of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh & Maharashtra. 

Fact no. 2 -

                   The Bermuda triangle is certainly not fixed and its effect can be experienced outside of the triangle too. 

Fact no. 3 -

                   The disappearances are ascribed to UFO's and alien activity, city of Atlantis lost under the triangle, and various other technical, natural and geographical reasons. 

Fact no. 4 -

                   Whenever any plane or ship disappears in the Triangle, its debris cannot be found. The reason behind this is that Gulf Stream runs near the triangle, which quickly gets rid of the debris.

                   At least 1000 lives are lost within the last 100 years. On average, 4 aircraft and 20 yachts go missing every year.

                         Inside the Bermuda Triangle, US Government has AUTEC (for Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center), which is located on the Andros Island of Bahamas. Here US Navy tests their submarines, sonar and other weapons. However many are of the view that it is more than just the testing center.

                  People have experienced electronic fog in bermuda triangle, which can be a Time Travel Tunnel too. Pilot Bruce Gernon claims he lost 28 minutes after flying through a time-warping cloud tunnel. The plane went missing from radars, only to re-emerge in Miami Beach. Fact no. 8 -

                  One of the biggest and famous losses of US Military occurred in 1945. Five US Navy Avenger torpedo bombers flew from Fort Lauderdale, Florida for a sortie to the island of Bimini. The mission had 14 men. After about 90 minutes, the radio operators received a signal that the compass was not working. After that the communication was lost. The bombers were never found. The three planes that went for their rescue also disappeared. 

Fact no. 9 -

                  The first person to report about Bermuda Triangle was Christopher Columbus. He wrote in his journals that inside the triangle, the ship's compass stopped working and he also saw a fireball in the sky.

                   Bermuda Triangle is one of the rare places on earth where the compass does not point towards Magnetic North. Instead of that, it point towards true north, which creates confusion and that's why so many ships and planes lost its course in the triangle

The Boundaries:

According to some report the total area covers about 500,000 square miles of ocean off the southeastern tip of Florida. Many writers publish their article about the boundaries of the triangle in different magazine. First of all in 1964 Vincent Gaddis published an article on this in pulp magazine Argosy. According to him the triangle’s three vertices are in Miami, Florida peninsula; in San Juan, Puerto Rico; and in the mid-Atlantic island of Bermuda. But some writers do did not agree with this explanation. Each and every writer gives their unique explanation on this.

This area is one of the most heavily travelled shipping lanes in the world and it also route for commercial and private aircraft heading towards Florida, the Caribbean and South America from point north.

Strange Disappearances

          The earliest allegation of strange disappearances in the Bermuda area appeared in a September 17, 1950. After 2 years one magazine published an article about these disappearances. This article contains the loss of several planes and ships, including the loss of Flight 19, a group of five U.S. Navy TBM Avenger bombers on a training mission. We all know that Flight 19 was a training flight of five TBM Avenger torpedo bombers that disappeared on December 5, 1945, while it is over the Atlantic. In one audio recording pilot of Flight 19 say “We are entering white water, nothing seems right. We don’t know where we are, the water is green, no white. ” Now, tell me what the meaning with green water is? What was he saw? Not only this there are many notable incidents which was happened in the Bermuda Triangle like USS Cyclops, Ellen Austin, Douglas DC-3, KC-135 Stratotanker, Connemara IV and many more.

        Sometimes I am thinking about there is a gate at Bermuda Triangle and which is in use by Aliens to travel in another planet..! Bermuda triangle is a very mysterious area on the Atlantic Ocean and there is a myth about this triangle that at this place several types of disappearances have occurred, many ships and planes passing over it have disappeared. In the last hundred years, approximately thousand lives are lost. On an average, 20 yachts and 4 planes go missing every year. And there is no evidence of disappearance. So people believe that devil lives here therefore they also call it "devil's triangle". But no one knows the exact reason behind it. Why do all of these big transportation machine go missing, but there are some stories and myths prevailing. Most of the disappearances have mainly taken place around the southern boundary of the triangle between Puerto Rico and Florida.

Bermuda Triangle History

The mysteries of the Bermuda Triangle have been documented for centuries, the Bermuda Triangle's infamy first started with Christopher Columbus. He wrote in his journals that inside this area, the watercraft's compass stopped working and he saw a fireball in the sky too. According to Columbus , when he looked down at his compass and observed that his compass was giving strange readings that day was October 8, 1492. He didn't take it seriously and a he did not inform his crew too, because having a compass that didn't point to magnetic north may have sent the exactly on border crew into the wildly unthinking behavior. This decision was apparently an ideal decision considering three days after when Columbus directly spotted a mysterious light, the crew got alarmed to go back to Spain.

1. Rig Veda reveals Bermuda triangle mystery

Rig Veda, clearly states that the planet mars was born out of the earth.  That is the reason why it is called Bhauma(‘son of Bhumi’) or Kuja(Ku = Earth + Ja = Born out of) in the language of Sanskrit. Asya Vamasya Sukta in Rig Veda states :

The Atharva Veda has a description of many types of gems described in it. One of the famous ones is the Darbha gem. The darbha gem is like a neutron star. And has very high density. It is claimed that more than 50 ships and 20 planes have disappeared in the Bermuda triangle within the last century and around 1000 in the past 500 years. It is still a mystery, where these aircrafts and water crafts disappeared. What actually happened with all? There is not a single theory which can explain all these disappearances. Several theories have given by many people, but not a single theory is universally accepted as the real cause of such incidents. Some of the most popular theories are given here

1.Methane Gas Theory
The methane gas theory was given in 1998 by Dr. Ben Clennell of Leads University, England. He stated that large amount of methane gas releases due to landslides under the water floors of ocean. And because of these landslides, related area gets converted into very low water density due to which the water crafts sink. And because of the high inflammable quality it is also explosive which may cause aircrafts to catch fire. Many studies have been done on this subsequently and it has been found that there is large amount of methane hydrates in ocean in frozen condition at below zero temperature. And large amount of methane gas releases as the result of decomposition of these hydrates. Because of methane, water heats up which causes water crafts to sink due to less float-ability. The air-crafts also crash as methane causes saturated air atmosphere to get stormy. Even this theory could not clearly define and justify the disappearance of water-crafts and air-crafts because methane reserves are situated at a big distance from Bermuda triangle but there not even a single case like this has happened. And for any ship to sink, it takes time, therefore meanwhile any message could be sent.




2. Gulf stream
Gulf stream is nothing but the ocean current which originates in the gulf of Mexico and passes through Bermuda triangle via straits of Florida, North Atlantic. It forms itself like a river in a ocean that can easily waft the floating objects like ships and other water-crafts with it. And even an aircraft which is flying near the water level can be affected.
3. Compass Variation
The magnetic north and absolute geographical north has a variation. It means the north which is shown by a compass is not actual north which is North Pole. This variation is approx 1500 miles. If we keep follow the compass shown north, then we will be reaching Prince of Wales Island of Canada, which is about 1,500 miles away from the North Pole. It shows a 20-degree variation. So ships and other water-crafts make an adjustment to get the right direction. But in Bermuda triangle there is a place where these two become same. It means compass shows the direction as north is actual North Pole. And this compass variation causes a big problem to determine the actual direction which leads to an accident. This theory was also unable to define the mystery of Bermuda Triangle completely, because there were many pilots and captains who were having in-depth knowledge of atmospheric conditions, directions and compass variation, even then they were trapped in Bermuda Triangle.

4. Electronic Fog: A Hutchison Effect
This theory was given by a Canadian scientist John Hutchison, who demonstrated an electromagnetic fog in his laboratory in 1979. He demonstrated it when different electromagnetic waves interplay with each-other. Which leads to some strange happening like objects rise in air, water swirling in a cup or some objects shooting in a high speed. Electromagnetic field is generated by metallic wire's coils. When a current is passed through these wires, it generates electromagnetic current or field and this is called electromagnetism. Hutchison demonstrated this strange behavior of objects in electromagnetic field more than 750 times and proved that it is due to interplay of electromagnetic field. And said a strange brown colored fog is formed which leads to such occurrences.

5. The Sargasso Sea
The Sargasso Sea is located in North Atlantic which is 700 miles wide and 2000 miles long and has no shores. It is bounded by sea currents from all sides. This whole area is covered by long dense seaweeds on its surface which looks like a mat. Its name is Sargassum by which the ocean name is also derived from.
Bermuda is located on its western fringes. There are lots of mysterious incidents have been happening in this area since long time. In many cases the ships which were lost, were found floating here without a single soul on it. Many ships were lost while traveling from here and reappeared without any person.

6. Strange Weather & Hurricanes
Lots of storms are raised in Bermuda Triangle very often and very quickly. These storms are so quick that even a satellite doesn't predict such storms. And if a ship is moving through that area, there is always a chance to sink. Hurricanes are also very powerful storms which rise from South Eastern Atlantic and pass through the Bermuda triangle. These hurricanes also cause loss and extreme damage in that particular area. Mostly these originate in the months of June to November.

7.Human Errors
Human errors also could not be neglected for such accidents. As Bermuda Triangle area is very vast and has lots of identical islands. So it is very often that they move towards wrong direction. And after realizing the errors, it is quite late to return and refuel the ship because after covering such a long way, ship runs out of fuel.

8.Supernatural Theories
There are several stories related to Bermuda Triangle. The most popular story is the lost city of Atlantis. Some people believe that there used to be a city named Atlantis which is now under water. There are rock formations near Biminis Island near the Bahamas. These rock formations are well arranged and look like manmade road and walls. They say that Atlantis is dependent upon a powerful energy crystal which produces large amount of energy and navigates the ships near to the area. And sometimes it destroys them because of excess amount of energy. Some other supernatural stories are related to aliens. People believe that ships and aircrafts are trapped by aliens, who often come there by UFOs. But it still remains to be proved.
