Job Description

The ideal candidate for this role is a technical generalist with strong experience in working on scalable, predictable, high‐quality and high‐performance web applications on the Microsoft technology stack(.Net). He will be responsible for supporting the ERP/CRM applications which are currently being used by the end users. Coordinate problem‐solving efforts between end‐users and the development team. Recommend and implement proposed solutions to resolve reported problems.

Responsibilities Assumed

 Provide support on incoming tickets, including extensive troubleshooting and debugging, with responsibilities covering multiple domains of the application

 Liaising with internal users to manage the support system, getting the feedback and suggesting improvements

 Identify root causes of technical issues in production and out of box failures

 Analysis of re‐occurring issues with the scope of finding the root cause and suggesting permanent fixes

 Design and develop solutions to fix identified problems

 Define processes for escalations and problem resolution

 Assist in support hours of operation and off hour production emergencies

 Interact with development teams for new developments giving insights from technical issues from past experiences

 Read and understand complex application code and make code fixes to resolve production issues

 Follow standard practices and procedures, work under close management, and follow specific, outlined, and detailed procedures

 Managing a team of Interns/Testers for application functionality testing and quality assurance

Skill Set

 Familiarity with technical skills including but not limited to .NET, SQL, Microsoft Windows/Web Services, XML, JSON, LINQ, ADO .NET and MVC

 Strong knowledge on SQL Server 2008 R2/2010 (Stored procedures, Functions, DDL Commands, SQL Profiler etc.)

 Must have a strong experience on IIS deployments and troubleshooting

 Basic knowledge on the standard business process with respect to ERP System modules in finance, accounting, human resources, payroll, project management and CRM

 Web-based client/server application architecture and associated communication protocols

 Excellent verbal and written communication skills
